Odell Lake Area in Deschutes NF

  • USFS District: Crescent
  • Area: Odell Lake

The Odell Lake Area campgrounds are all on Odell Lake located on Highway 58 in the southern most section of the Deschutes National Forest. This lake along with Crescent Lake provides one of the most popular recreation areas for boating in the Eugene/Springfield and Bend areas. There are two resorts at either end of the lake along with these three campgrounds which are on the north and west sides of the lake. The little town of Crescent Junction is close by as is summer recreation at Willamette Pass Ski Area. Trapper Creek is the smallest of the three, but probably the nicest for RVers. Princess Creek does not have water and the sites are small. RVs are discouraged in this campground. Sunset Cove is larger and provides good sites for everyone. All three campgrounds have great day use boat ramp areas, but day use people need to have the NW Forest Pass.
